TV Instructions

For each TV there should be two remotes-one for the specific brand of TV and one for the Spectrum cable box. Each Spectrum remote should have a label for the room that it belongs to in case the remotes get mixed up with another remote. Please try to keep each remote in the respective room of the TV it controls. The Spectrum remote will control the cable box and TV.

When you first go to use the TV the cable box and TV will likely be turned off. In this case you could click the On/Off System button in the top left which will turn on all equipment that the remote is linked to. If you are looking to turn on just the TV then click the TV button (second row of buttons from the top) and then click the Power button (top right). If you see that nothing comes on the TV then the cable box might be turned off as well. To turn the cable box on click the cable button (CBL from the second row of buttons from the top) and then click the Power button.

For the downstairs TV there is also a Roku set up in guest mode. Roku guest mode allows you to schedule a date for Roku to sign out of all of your services that you have logged into. You also have the option of manually signing out of all streaming services at any time. The Roku is on HDMI 2 input. You will need to change the input on the TV to HDMI 2 by clicking the source button (bottom left of the Auria TV's remote) and then clicking the down arrow button and pressing the select button in the middle. If you just want to go back to the Spectrum TV cable box then you will need to change the input back to HDMI 1.

Important buttons on the Spectrum remote

The top two buttons are the System On/Off button (left) and Power button (right). If you click the System On/Off button it is going to turn power on or off to any system the remote is linked to. All the Spectrum remotes should be linked to only the TV and cable box. The buttons under the System On/Off and Power buttons can be pressed to select the system you would like to control. You can click on the TV button first and then click the Power button (top right) to power on or off just the TV.

Press the GUIDE button on your remote to display the full-screen guide view with program listings and channel information. From the guide menu you can click the directional up down arrows on the remote to navigate through the menu and if you find a show you would like to watch, you can click the Ok/Sel in the middle of the directional arrow buttons to change to that channel.

Around the middle of the remote you should see a set of up and down arrow buttons for volume (left Vol) and channel (right CH). The volume buttons will adjust volume on the TV since these remotes have been synced with each room's TV.
